DoseLoop is a personal health and wellness tracking app designed to help users log medication schedules, doses, symptoms, weight, nutrition, water intake, progress, reminders, and related personal notes. DoseLoop is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, and does not diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any medical condition.
By using DoseLoop, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

DoseLoop will only access Health data after you grant permission through Apple’s permission system. You can change or revoke Health permissions at any time in your device settings.
We do not use Health data for advertising.
1.3 Photos and Camera Access
DoseLoop may request access to your camera or photo library for features such as progress photos or food scanning.
Photos are accessed only when you choose to select or capture a photo. DoseLoop does not access your photo library in the background.
For AI-assisted food scan features, the selected meal photo may be submitted to a third-party food recognition provider only after you choose to analyze the photo.
1.4 Notification Data
If you enable reminders, DoseLoop may use local or push notifications to remind you about doses, logs, or other activities you choose to track.
You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
1.5 Subscription and Purchase Information
If DoseLoop offers premium features or subscriptions, purchases may be processed by Apple through the App Store.
We do not receive or store your full payment card details. Apple handles payment processing according to Apple’s own privacy and payment policies.
We may receive limited subscription status information, such as whether your subscription is active, expired, or canceled, so we can unlock premium features.

3. AI-Assisted Food Scan and Third-Party Processing
DoseLoop may include an AI-assisted food scan feature that allows you to select or capture a meal photo and receive an editable nutrition estimate.
When you use this feature:
-
You choose the photo.
-
The photo is submitted only after you tap the analyze button.
-
The result is an estimate and may be incomplete or incorrect.
-
You should review and edit the result before saving it.
-
DoseLoop does not automatically save AI-generated nutrition values without your review.
To provide this feature, DoseLoop may use third-party food recognition or nutrition data providers, such as LogMeal, FatSecret, or similar services.
These providers may process the image or food-related data to return food recognition and nutrition information. Their handling of data is governed by their own privacy policies and terms.
If you do not want meal photos processed by a third-party provider, do not use the food scan feature. You can still log meals manually.
